This was my first time eating here, but it won't be my last! My friend and I got seated right away. The atmosphere was very warm and cozy. We ordered appetizers of pot stickers and crab rangoon to share. My friend tried the General Tso's chicken while I had the orange chicken special with wonton soup and an egg roll. The spice on the General Tso's chicken was just right, and not overpowering. I could taste a hint of orange in my dish, which wasn't overpowering either. My friend and I will definitely go back to try some other items from their delicious menu which offered a nice variety of food to choose from!
Great service and the best egg drop soup I’ve had. Chicken lettuce wraps were also great! I didn’t care too much for my veggie roll and they took it off the bill for me without me asking. Mai Tai was a little pricey but still yummy! Definitely a new favorite restaurant!
There's nothing bad I can say about this place at all...... we sat down, were promptly greeted, egg drop soup was fantastic, wonton soup was delicious as well. When compared to mall/chain Chinese food which we are accustomed to, THIS PLACE KNOCKED MY SOCKS OFF. I didn't know what REAL General Tso and Orange chicken tasted like until I came to this place. The chicken was so fantastically fried that it had a delicious crunch to it for both dishes and the orange taste was not overbearing. Neither dishes were too spicy, abundant flavor and the rice was made or order and I could tell it wasn't old rice from earlier in the day. This was the most fresh Chinese food we have ever had! The ambiance of the restaurant was great as well. Not too crowded with beautiful music being played that enhances the environment. Our server was on top of our drinks so we never ran dry and I accidentally left my card in the restaurant and our server followed me to my car and brought it to me!!!!! What a wonderful experience and we will most CERTAINLY be back !!
The food was delicious, service was great, we did carryout and it was packed well. The restaurant looks nice inside and was clean, much different than the typical Chinese food place where you don't even feel comfortable touching the table/chairs. Portions were generous for the quality of food and rising prices.
We enjoyed this place. We had a Thai dish, Jjamppong soup and sushi. Rolls were large. Soup was delicious. This is a family ran restaurant. I would definitely recommend this place.
Great food, reasonable prices.. Awesome sushi menu. 3! Food so good, we order extra after we're done just to eat later! As a king fu teacher who travels extensively, I've eaten Chinese food in China, Hong Kong, Chicago Chinatown, New York Chinatown, San Francisco Chibarown, and Toronto Chinatoqn and I ALWAYS look forward to China Dynasty... Chef Stephen makes amazing food, Americanized Chinese and authentic Chinese, plus Korean, Thai, and Japanese, plus Tokyostyle sushi! Ask what's not ON the menu and you'll be delighted - just let Chef make you something wonderful.
Chinese New Year special was Peking duck and also some fresh sashimi.
China Dynasty exceeded my expectations! I visited as a group with different dietary needs (gluten free, vegan, pescatarian) and we were all able to get a meal. The portions were generous—enough for lunch the next day. If you’re looking for gluten free Chinese food in the Dayton area, this is the place!! Sushi was good as well.
